Why Shopify Variant Images Don't Switch

1. Image isn't assigned. Go to Products, open the product, scroll to Variants, and click the image icon next to each variant. If nothing is set, Shopify has nothing to switch to. Assign an image and save.
2. Theme doesn't support it. Not all themes handle variant switching the same way. Test on Dawn; Shopify's default theme. If it works on Dawn but not your theme, the theme is the issue.
3. Browser cache. Just made changes and nothing looks different? Clear your cache and reload before troubleshooting anything else.
